House Shoes feat. Danny Brown, “Sweet”
Danny Brown can do no wrong right now.
Minor correction: this song is three years old, from back when exactly NO music critics listened to Danny Brown!
I guess it just had its official release, though, and I have to agree that it’s really really good. Critical consensus works retroactively, which is also good, I think. I just felt the need to be an annoying pedant because, you know, the Rap Internet.

Waka Flocka Ft. Plies - Lurkin’.
After scoring a cover spread on XXL magazine, Waka Flocka Flame returns with a new cut assisted by Plies entitled “Lurkin’.” This is classic Flocka right here. As soon as the track starts, I can imagine fans breaking into rowdy behavior like punching old ladies, kicking cute babies, and getting turnt all the way up! Looks like a winner to me. Triple F Life due soon. Download now.
Ab-Soul Ft. Danny Brown & Jhene Aiko - Terrorist Threats (Music Video).
If one track deserved visuals from Ab-Soul’s newest album it was defintely the Danny Brown and Jhene Aiko assisted track “Terrorist Treats.” Easily one of the highlights from an outstanding album full of quality music. Make sure you support TDE and the rise of the new west.
Video: Task1ne ft. Yae - Villain
This video for ‘Villain’ is straight from Task1ne’s ‘District 916’ project. It features Yae of F.H.O.D. This one is perfect for me as it appeals to both my hip hop and geeky sides. Yuuuuup!

An animated (literally) GZA recalls early visits to the Bronx, block parties, and a young RZA getting in trouble.

SpaceGhostPurrp - The Black God (Official Video)
The Black Gangrel has been out of the spotlight recently, but by choice. He’s been working on remastering past works for the label backed album, entitled ‘Mysterious Phonk: Chronicles of SpaceGhostPurrp’ which drops June 12th. This will feature songs from both the Blackland Radio and The God Of Black tape.
This is probably the best video I’ve seen this year. It reminds me of a more sinister version of some NWA shit. It definitely fits his whole style and sound as an artist. Ever since returning to Florida or Blackland as he calls it, he has had a different state of mind when it comes to music.
